Various Rocks

· Travel team
A rock is a solid assemblage of one or more minerals with a stable form. Rock is one of the materials that make up the earth's crust and is the main component of the earth's lithosphere. Rocks are an important source of early human tools and play an important role in human evolution.
Therefore, the first period of human civilization is called the Stone Age. Rock has always been an important material and tool for human life and production.
Now let's introduce some kinds of rocks.
Beach rock
Beach rock is a term in Marine geology. The beach rock is formed by weathering of natural forces such as crustal movement, impact and transport of flowing water, and repeated rolling friction between sand and stone.
In the tropics and subtropics, the water level of the sea will keep rising and falling, so that the calcium carbonate in the sea can be dissolved and precipitated, coupled with a series of external forces, eventually formed beach rocks. Because of its distribution in the sea or close to the coast, coastal fishing and navigation are unfavorable.
Sedimentary Rock
Sedimentary rocks are formed by the consolidation of layers of sediment. It is a sedimentary layer formed by weathering, denudation, biological action and volcanism during the development and evolution of the crust.
On the earth, 70%of the rocks are sedimentary rocks. However, if the entire rock ring is calculated from the surface of the earth to the depth of 16 kilometers, the sedimentary rock accounts for only 5%. The sedimentary rocks mainly include limestone, sandstone, shale, etc. The minerals contained in the sedimentary rock account for 80%of all world minerals.
Magmatic rock
Magmatic rocks are rocks formed by magma from deep in the earth's crust, which is ejected to the surface, cooled and consolidated, and then crystallized. Because the conditions under which it formed are very different from sedimentary rock. As a result, its characteristics are also markedly different from those of sedimentary rocks.
Magmatic rock, which is the most primitive rock when the earth's crust was formed. It consists mainly of silicate minerals with trace amounts of magnetite minerals. Magmatic rock is a rock formed by magma ejecting from the surface and then cooling and solidifying, and its surface has obvious mineral crystal particles or pores. Magmatic rocks account for about 65% of the total volume and 95% of the total mass of the crust.
Magma is produced in the deep crust or the upper mantle of the high-temperature hot, viscous silicate molten body, is the formation of various magmatic rocks and magma deposits the parent. The whole process of magma generation, migration, accumulation, change and condensation diagenesis is called magmatism.
Fluorspar
This rock is what we call crystal rock, which is also called fluorspar. Fluorspar is a kind of rock with many colors. It is usually shiny. This kind of rock can be processed and polished into a variety of ornaments, belonging to the decorative gem.
