Cod is rich in protein, vitamin A, and magnesium, which makes it great for our heart and overall health. But how do we actually cook cod to enjoy both the taste and the benefits?
Let's walk through 8 super appetizing ways to cook cod that'll make us want to head straight to the kitchen!

Pan-Seared Cod Fillet

Ingredients:
• 1 cod fillet
• 1 egg (just the yolk)
• Salt, MSG, white pepper, cooking drinks, light soy sauce, cornstarch, peanut oil
Steps:
1. Thaw the cod, rinse with water, and pat dry completely with a clean paper towel.
2. Mix a bit of salt, MSG, cooking drinks, and white pepper, then marinate the cod for 20 minutes.
3. Beat the egg yolk and brush it evenly over the fish.
4. Dip both sides of the fish lightly in cornstarch so it's just coated.
5. Heat peanut oil in a pan. When the oil is hot (about 80% heat), place in the fish. Pan-fry on medium heat until both sides are golden.
6. At the end, turn the heat to high for a few seconds to push out some of the absorbed oil.
7. Slice and plate the fish.
Tips:
• Use a large, thick piece of cod for better texture and shape.
• The marinade helps the fish absorb flavor before cooking.
