Why Visit the Katara Towers?

The Katara Towers rise 211 meters (692 feet) above the Marina District and feature 36 floors. Completed as one of the signature projects for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, they quickly became an icon of Lusail's skyline. Besides their impressive appearance, the towers combine luxury accommodations, elegant restaurants, business facilities, and beautiful public spaces. During the evening, the glass exterior reflects the colorful lights of the city, creating one of the most beautiful waterfront views in Qatar.

Location and Ticket Information

The towers are located in the Lusail Marina District, about 20 kilometers north of central Doha.
One of the best parts of visiting is that the exterior is completely free to enjoy.

- Observation Deck: There is currently no public observation deck.
- Recommended Visit Time: 2–4 hours, or longer if we plan to enjoy nearby attractions and restaurants.

Opening Hours and Best Time to Visit

- The outdoor public area around the towers is accessible 24 hours a day, making it easy to visit at any time.
- Restaurants generally welcome guests from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, although operating hours may vary slightly.
- The most comfortable season is November through March, when temperatures are pleasant for walking outdoors.
For photography, arriving about one hour before sunset is highly recommended. We can enjoy daylight views first, followed by the spectacular evening illumination after sunset.

From Hamad International Airport

From Central Doha
- Taxi or ride service: $10–16
- Travel time: 20–30 minutes
By Metro
Take the Doha Metro Red Line to Lusail Station, then transfer to the Lusail Tram.

Walking from the nearest tram stop takes approximately 10 minutes.
Parking is also available for visitors arriving by car.

Visitors do not need to stay at the hotels to enjoy many of the restaurants.
