I have learned that my hair usually looks best when I treat the scalp and the lengths as two separate areas. Sometimes the roots need a deeper refresh, while the ends need exactly the opposite: softness, nourishment and protection from dryness.
These are the products I currently combine when I want that more complete reset without turning wash day into an overly complicated routine.
Rated Green Rose Mary Balancing Scalp Pack
The Rated Green Cold Brew Rose Mary Balancing Scalp Pack with Charcoal is the product I reach for when my scalp feels like it needs more attention than a regular shampoo can give it.
I apply it mainly around the roots and scalp rather than through the entire length. The charcoal-based formula gives it that deeper-cleansing feel, while the creamy texture makes the step feel more like a treatment than a harsh scrub.
What I like most is the refreshed feeling afterward. My scalp feels cleaner and lighter, but the product does not make the whole routine feel aggressive. I would use this as an occasional reset rather than at every wash, especially when there has been more styling product or when my roots simply feel heavier than usual.
Davines OI Oil And Hair Milk
For the lengths, I prefer products that make the hair feel softer without immediately weighing it down, and the Davines OI products fit into that category perfectly.
I use the lighter spray through damp hair before styling because it distributes easily and helps make the lengths feel smoother and more manageable. It is especially useful when my hair feels slightly tangled after washing or when I want a little more softness before blow-drying.
The OI Oil is the finishing step. I only need a small amount, usually concentrated on the ends. It helps make dry-looking areas appear smoother and gives the hair a more polished finish.
I would not use too much of either product at once. For me, they work best in small amounts: the spray for overall softness and the oil for the driest areas and final shine.
Lebel IAU Cream Melt Repair
The Lebel IAU Cream Melt Repair is the richer step in this routine and the one I use when my lengths feel particularly dry or rough.
The creamy texture feels much more substantial than a regular conditioner, so I focus it mainly from the mid-lengths downward. After rinsing, my hair feels smoother and easier to detangle, and the ends look noticeably more polished.
I especially like using it after deeper scalp cleansing because it balances the routine nicely: the roots feel fresh, while the lengths still get the richer conditioning they need.
Together, these products give me a routine that feels balanced rather than excessive. I can refresh the scalp, soften the lengths and add shine where I need it without applying the same type of product everywhere.
