Murchison Falls National Park is about 300 kilometers from Kampala. The road journey usually takes around 4–5 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.

From Kampala:

• Private safari vehicle with driver-guide: Approx. $150–$250 per day.

• Self-drive 4×4 rental: Approx. $80–$150 per day, excluding fuel.

• Driving time: Around 4–5 hours.

From Masindi:

• Private transfer: Approx. $40–$80.

• Kichumbanyobo Gate is about 16 km from Masindi.

By air:

• Charter flights can reach nearby airstrips such as Pakuba and Bugungu.

• Flight time from the Kampala area is roughly one hour, followed by a lodge transfer.
