How to Get to Jotunheimen

From Oslo, buses toward Valdres can continue to Fagernes, Bygdin, and Gjendesheim. The journey to Gjendesheim takes roughly four hours from Oslo. A one-way bus journey can cost approximately $35 to $70, depending on the route and booking date.

Driving provides greater flexibility. From Oslo or Lillehammer, follow the E6 before connecting toward the mountain region. Travelers arriving from Bergen can approach through the E16.
